The Perimeter Insert System eliminates the unsightly wrinkles and buckled seam problems at the front and rear ends of your bags. The surfaces will now remain straight, smooth, and square. The inserts are a full-wrap system that supports the entire circumference of the bag.

Here you can see the two shaped plastic pieces that fit inside the bag to reform the front and back of the saddle-bag.

A perimeter insert strip is added to complete the installation. All pieces lock into position with only a pliers, straight edge, and utility knife. No adhesive required.

To completely stabalize your bags, we recommend that you install the complete system. All the parts of a system need to be installed to eliminate the problems associated with saggy bags.

The Lid Insert entails a 3-step process, but equally as simple. Start with an oh-so-obvious saggy bag. Open the bag and install the Lid Insert according to instructions, using the special cement as directed. Position carefully on the underside of the saddlebag lid. Then stand back and admire your handiwork!

The Lid Insert is pre-cut to the exact size for the appropriate year of your Softail, and is invisible from the outside; all that is noticed is your nicely-squared saddle-bag, letting everyone know that yours is one sharp machine. E6000 Industrial Strength Adhesive included.

Support Rails can be installed without the Lid Insert, but the effect of using them together is much more effective. The Rails install over the existing rivets and backing support. They self-lock into position with less than 5 minutes of effort. The Rails are great looking, and don't show when the bag is closed.
The secret of success for the support rail is its memory-plastic construction that holds a spring-like shape for insertion over the edge of the saddle bag. This makes sure your bag retains its original shape with a sturdy, rigid edge that will last a life-time. Starting at one end of the bag, the rail is then installed along the entire edge where it is held firmly and permanently in place by the built-in grip. Easy to install, yet unlike anything else on the market today.
And the finished result...
